The pure water method

Sensitive or soft materials are cut with pure water.
Examples:

» Food » Textiles
» Paper » Elastomers
» Thermoplastics » Pulp
» Rubber » Thin plastics

The abrasive water-jet method

To work on more compact, harder materials, a fine grain is added to the water.
Examples:

» Marble and stone » Stainless steel
» Glass » Titanium
» Ceramics » Aluminium
» Compounds

Guide values for the performance range are: Material thicknesses up to 350 mm and cut widths from 0.25 mm upwards. These two methods suffice for all materials.

KARODUR uses 2D and 3D software for both methods, with which various CAD formats (DXF, DWG, IGES, STEP etc.) can be implemented.

In combination with our moulding and milling technologies, we provide solutions to complex problems involving special components from the material stage through to finishing, all from one source - solutions that are high quality and cost-efficient.
